Doug Granitz
President
Doug Granitz joined Behlen in 2023 as the President of Hilton Industries in Sarasota, Florida. With a Bachelor’s Degree from Taylor University and a Master’s Degree from Indiana University, Doug brings a robust academic background complemented by five years of service as a non-commissioned officer in the US Army. Prior to his current role, Doug served as the Chief Operating Officer for a major residential roofing company in Florida, showcasing his expertise in organizational leadership.
Born and raised in Brazil as the child of evangelical missionaries, Doug is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, offering a unique perspective to his global leadership role. His career spans consumer packaged goods and agribusiness-related operations, with notable experience in Latin America and Asia. Doug's leadership journey is enriched by a diverse range of training, including the USA Army Leadership Officer Training Program, Schreiber Foods training, Six Sigma, TQM/TPM, Autonomous Maintenance, SMED, OEE, S&OP, HACCP GMP, Branding and Marketing, and Key Account Management.
